Itami City Museum of Art
Since opening in November of 1987, this museum has operated on the concept of "satire and humor." It houses over 2,000 satirical prints, 49 sculptures, and 4 oil paintings by Honoré Daumier, a prominent 19th century French artist, as well as many more satirical prints by William Hogarth, Georges Bigot, and others. Visitors will also find plenty of bright, beautiful works, such as oil paintings by Raoul Dufy, and can look forward to special events - about five special exhibits per year, fun workshops for all ages, and plenty more.
